Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is placing specially designed glass Cups on the skin. Generally using a flame to create a vacuum within the cup, then the cup is placed over an area the practitioner decides is most beneficial. Cupping is often used to remove blood stagnation within the muscles, normally an area of injury. This then allows more fresh oxygenated blood to the area of injury allowing recovery to generally be quicker. This can leave round circles that look bruised, in fact they don't often feel bruised.
there are a few different ways the cups can be used from leaving in one position for up to 20 minutes, flash cupping with popping the cups on and off around an area and sliding cups when oil is used on the skin and the cups are moved whilst on the skin.
